We held another Community Town Hall on Friday, July 18, 2025, with an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session led by our CEO, Buchi Okoro. It was another chance to provide you with updates on the new Quidax app and hear your feedback.
Here’s a summary of the conversations:
We Built a Powerful App in But It’s In the “Infancy Phase”
Our CEO, Buchi Okoro, led the call with an apology on the overall experience and for the minor bugs we still have left after the previous major fixes. He acknowledged the current stress and pain Quidaxians are experiencing with the new Quidax app, describing it as an “infancy phase.”
We assure everyone that we are working tirelessly to resolve the issues left and enhance the platform for significant future value.
What Specific Fixes Have Been Made?
Since the last update and the Friday AMA, the things we’ve worked on include:
- Wallet visibility (for customers who didn’t have some of their crypto wallets displayed).
- Asset precision (for Quidaxians who had issues with their balances not being accurately displayed).
- KYC processes (for customers who had verification issues).
- Password reset email delivery (for customers who previously didn’t receive them).
What Are We Doing About the App’s Speed?
We are aware that the new app should load faster, especially transactions and swaps, which are taking longer than usual.
Though we’ve made some improvements on that end, we know the experience is not yet at the level of the previous app. However, more work is being done to improve it.
Is There a Plan For Affiliates on the New App?
Yes, we’re working on launching an affiliate programme in the near future for those looking to become Quidax ambassadors. Stay tuned for more updates.
What is “Quidax Earn” Really About?
The Earn feature is an upgrade of USD Savings in the old Quidax app. We created this feature to give you more opportunities to earn interest on your cryptocurrencies, starting with Tether (USDT).
With Earn, you can enjoy up to 10% interest per year on your crypto holdings. We made the feature available to only those who had a USD Savings plan in the old Quidax app. However, we will be opening it to customers after this initial testing phase.

Why Are Some Orders Appearing to Be Filled On the Order Book Malfunctioning?
The Quidax order book is working perfectly and you can get access to real-time data of how cryptos are being bought and sold on the platform.
Note that some orders are “API orders” that are processed instantly by customers connecting from other platforms and not just through the Quidax exchange. However, we will work on improving it to show a clearer picture of real-time transactions.
