Withdrawal Completed But Not Credited? Here’s Why Session IDs Matter

We know how stressful it can feel when you complete a withdrawal and it doesn’t reflect immediately. Most times, these delays happen on the bank’s end, but you shouldn’t be left in the dark while waiting.

That’s why we’ve introduced Transaction Receipts and Session IDs on Quidax. In this blog post, we’ll explain why both are important and how you can use them to resolve withdrawal issues without having to contact Support.

What Are Transaction Receipts and Session IDs?

Your transaction receipt gives you a downloadable record of your withdrawal history. It shows the amount, date, and time a withdrawal was processed.

Meanwhile, your Session ID is the real MVP, though. It’s a unique 30-digit code that banks use to trace and confirm the exact point where a delayed transaction got stuck. Instead of guessing or contacting Support, you can now share your Session ID with your bank to help you see what stage your money is at.

So next time your withdrawal is delayed, don’t panic. Here’s what to do:

Step 1: Generate A Withdrawal Receipt

On the Quidax app:

  1. Sign in to your Quidax account
  2. Go to “Wallets” and tap on “Cash”
  3. Tap on “Nigerian Naira (NGN)”
  4. Tap on the “Withdrawals” icon under “Recent Transactions”
  5. Tap the transaction you want to check from the list
  6. The transaction details, including the Session ID, will appear clearly on the screen

Step 2: Share the Session ID With Your Bank

If your bank says your transfer hasn’t arrived, simply provide them with the transaction receipt, which already has the Session ID on it. They can use it to track your incoming funds through their system.

Step 3: Wait a Bit (Banks Like to Take Their Time)

Bank delays happen due to the processes involved in tracing failed or delayed transactions. After contacting your bank, wait a bit for the issue to be resolved.

Step 4: Still Not Credited After 24 Hours?
