Whale of the Week – Campaign Terms and Conditions

By participating in the Quidax Whale of the Week Campaign, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions (the “Terms”).
The Quidax Whale of the Week Campaign is being run by Quidax Technologies Limited (Quidax).
All terms, provisions, and conditions — including any modification, addition, removal, alteration, reconstruction — in the Terms and Conditions of Use available on Quidax’s website are hereby incorporated into these Terms with the same force and effect as though fully set forth herein.
The Terms and Conditions of Use and these Terms together shall be construed as one and the same. Where the Terms and Conditions of Use are inconsistent with these Terms, the provisions of the Terms and Conditions of Use shall prevail.

Eligibility to Enter

The Quidax Whale of the Week Campaign is open to individuals over 18 years of age and who have completed sign up on the Quidax platform (i.e. email verification) and who have used or wish to use the Quidax platform to conduct/carry out fiat transactions and/or cryptocurrency trades at any point since January 1st, 2025.
You agree that your participation in the Quidax Whale of the Week Campaign is at your sole option, discretion, and you understand the risk involved in cryptocurrency trading.
The Quidax Whale of the Week Campaign shall run from Thursday, 8th May 2025 through Wednesday, 14th May 2025. In entering the campaign, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.
The Quidax Whale of the Week Campaign is conditional on the Terms contained herein.
Merchant customers and other corporate customers of Quidax are not eligible to participate in the campaign.
Quidax or its affiliates and staff members are not eligible to participate in the campaign.

All individual customers are required to have an account on Quidax and make trades of at least $100,000 in cumulative volume using the Order Book product, with a minimum of 50 Order Book trades within the campaign duration.
Only Order Book trades are eligible for this campaign. Instant Swap or other product trades are not valid for entry.
During the campaign duration, only the top 3 customers who meet the campaign criteria will qualify to win rewards.
Quidax will not accept responsibility if the contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate or the user fails to complete signup and verify the account.

The top 3 customers with the highest cumulative Order Book trade frequency (minimum of 50 trades) and a cumulative volume of at least $100,000 will be rewarded. They will share a total prize pool of ₦3500,000.

Winning customers will have their share of the prize pool deposited into their Quidax wallet in NGN.
Quidax reserves the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
The decision of Quidax regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into or entertained about it.

By trading on Quidax during any Quidax Whale of the Week campaign, you consent to any personal information you provide as well as trading information being used by Quidax for the purposes of administering and marketing the Quidax Whale of the Week campaign, and for those purposes as defined within our Privacy Policy.

The winner(s) agrees to the use/release of their full name, Quidax username, picture and other information that may be requested by Quidax.
All personal information shall be processed in accordance with Quidax Privacy Policy.

After the end of the campaign, customers who qualify for the reward will be notified via email and/or Push Notification about their share of the prize pool.
No other prize is applicable to this campaign.

Quidax does not accept any liability for any damage, death, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in this campaign, save that Quidax does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence.
Quidax does not provide any form of practical or IT support for the all competitions. Use of the Quidax website or app during any Quidax Whale of the Week Campaign is governed additionally by its Terms and Conditions.
Quidax does not provide any form of financial support or advice for participants in this campaign. You are advised to do your own research before entering and/or while participating in this campaign.

Quidax reserves the right to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Nigerian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
