What is a Trusted Account?
A Trusted Account is a bank account or wallet address you save and mark as trusted on Quidax. Once you add a bank account or wallet address as a Trusted Account, you no longer need to go through multifactor authentication (MFA) every time you withdraw to it. MFA includes email/SMS verification and authenticator code (Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator).
You set it up once, and every withdrawal to that account becomes quicker from then on.
Why We Built Trusted Account
We know that going through multifactor authentication (MFA) every single time you withdraw can slow you down, especially when you are withdrawing to the same bank account or wallet address you always use. Trusted Accounts removes that repeated step, so you spend less time verifying and more time getting your funds where they need to go.
How it works
Setting up bank account or mobile money as a Trusted Account on the Quidax mobile app:
- Sign in into the Quidax mobile app
- Click on your profile picture, tap Trusted Accounts.
- Select Cash, tap Add, and choose your account type.
- Enter your account details and complete the verification codes.
- Confirm that the account number belongs to you.
- Tap Continue, and your account is added as a Trusted Account.
Setting up a wallet address as a Trusted Account on the Quidax mobile app:
- Sign in into the Quidax mobile app
- Click on your profile picture, tap Trusted Accounts.
- Select Cash, tap Add, and choose your account type.
- Enter your account details and complete the verification codes.
- Confirm that the account number belongs to you.
- Tap Continue, and your account is added as a Trusted Account.
That’s it. Your next withdrawal will be faster.
Your security stays intact
Trusted Accounts does not mean less security. It means smarter security. You still go through full verification the first time you add an account, so we can confirm it truly belongs to you. After that, since the destination is already verified, you skip the repeated checks for that specific account or wallet address only.
